Board

The chair of the University Fund Limburg/SWOL is the King’s Commissioner in the Province of Limburg, mr. E.G.M. Roemer. The other board members include representatives from the business sector, alumni and members of UM’s academic and administrative staff. The board members fulfill their tasks on a voluntary basis.

Honorary members
In 2022, Theo Bovens was officially appointed honorary member. During the period 2011-2021, Bovens held the position of chairman, due to his designation as commissioner of the Queen and King respectively in the province of Limburg. A role he fulfilled with verve.

In previous years, the University Fund Limburg named dr. J. Kremers (chair, 1977-1989), B.J.M. baron van Voorst tot Voorst (chair, 1993-2005) and W. Blind (treasurer, 1990-2005) as honorary members.
