As of 1 September, we will bring ENGIE, market leader in technical services, closer to Maastricht University! ENGIE will be the first participant of our UM Partner Programme, in which we will strengthen the relationships between companies and the university even more.
“At ENGIE we love to contribute in research and education on themes regarding social importance,” says André Polgar, commercial director at ENGIE. ‘‘ENGIE is a services and energy related company with a leadership role in sustainable change. Through smart innovative technical solutions, integral sustainable area development, low-energy buildings, and a reliable generation and supply in sustainable energy (wind and solar energy, WKO, green gas, geothermal heat and hydrogen), we try to deal in a responsible manner with social developments and today’s themes related to our work and living environment. Maastricht University deals with most of those themes as well. That is why the university is a great cooperation partner for our company. We also want to get close to the knowledge, talent and network within UM through the UM Partner Programme.”
About the UM Partner Programme
The UM Partner Programme is a new concept of the University Fund Limburg/SWOL, in which companies can connect with UM for at least 2 years. Participants will make a financial contribution to research and education around social themes in the region of Limburg. They can also draw upon the expertise, the talent and the network of Maastricht University.
