The MPCER Fund aims to further develop a multidisciplinary platform for researchers at Maastricht University (UM). The focus of this platform is on ‘community-engaged research’, or research that involves the relevant group in seeking solutions to challenges that they face in society.
The MPCER contributes to four goals. First and foremost, it provides an online environment in which UM researchers can exchange knowledge in the area of community-engaged research. They can use the platform to discuss topics such as research ethics, methodology, funding, dissemination of results and communication.
The platform also offers a digital showcase for community-engaged research at UM, and provides an infrastructure to connect researchers from different universities. Last but not least, it will ultimately contribute to education related to community-engaged research.
Advisory committee
A committee of experts provides financial oversight of the MPCER Fund. The members of this committee are:

The University Fund Limburg/SWOL is responsible for the administration of the MPCER Fund.
