The Mark Post Research Fund supports scientific research and education in field of Tissue Engineering for Medical and Food at Maastricht University.
A special and recent example of such research is the development of hamburger made from cultured beef in the lab of dr Post. On November 15th 2013, dr. Post received the prestigious World Technology Award for innovation benefiting the environment at the World Technology Award gala in New York, sponsored by CNN, Science, NYT, Fortune and others. Awardees are individuals or companies that created innovations with the highest likelihood of being meaningful in the future.
Scientific Advisory Board
The Scientific Advisory Board advises the administration of the Mark Post Research Fund on requests to financially support submitted research projects.
