Advisory committee Spending by the A-KO Fund will be assessed by a committee of experts affiliated to the fund. The members of the committee are Ms. Prof. Dr. S. Heeneman (chair), Mr. W. Germeraad (secretary), Ms. Dr. J. Sieben, Ms. Prof. Dr. D. Jonkers and Ms. G. van Rooy, MA.
Geert Hofstede was hoogleraar Vergelijkende Cultuurstudies van Organisaties aan de Economische Faculteit van de Universiteit Maastricht (thans Maastricht University School of Business and Economics) van 1985 tot zijn emeritaat in 1993. In 1987 richtte hij de afstudeerrichting Internationaal Management op, de eerste van deze aard in Nederland. Hofstede geniet internationale bekendheid als pionier van cultuurvergelijkend onderzoek; zijn concept van “dimensies van cultuur” wordt wereldwijd gebruikt.
