Stichting Mia Keulaerds Fonds, Stichting VOOR Parkstad and University Fund Limburg are joining forces to promote equal educational opportunities in the Parkstad region. Last week, the three parties signed the agreement at Obvion’s beautiful office in Heerlen.
Not everyone has the opportunity to study: some young people face financial and social barriers. The new program will offer scholarships to students from the Parkstad region for the next three years, to enable them access to higher education.
The stories about the strong motives of Mia Keulaerds, to dedicate herself to education for young people, give extra sparkle to this special and unique cooperation, which we are very delighted about.
